22 weeks

Baby is the size of a papaya.

Symptoms:
Hard time breathing
Feel weak and really tired if I push myself to do too much.
Hips hurt
My abs are starting to separate: Had to order a support band but thank God for my sister who is letting me borrow hers until mine comes in. Let me tell you, painful!!!
Sleeplessness: Can't sleep at night and then feel really tired during the day.

Movement:
When this baby isn't asleep, he is moving, hiccuping, and kicking me non stop.

Cravings:
Last night I wanted Taco Bell and Ben so graciously went and got it for me.

Thoughts:
So so excited for a house of Boys!!! I am totally outnumbered but I am so excited to see my two boys grow up together and hopefully be best buds. We are going to tackle the babies room this weekend and hopefully get it organized enough to start moving and setting up things for the babies arrival.

Pretty sure this baby is going to be bigger than Brandon. A little afraid of that so I am hoping he comes early so he is as big or a little smaller than Brandon. Loving feeling him kick though cause I know he is doing well!

Weighed myself and I haven't gained weight. -3 lbs prepregnancy. Trying not to worry knowing that he is doing fine. Just have to realize that I am not swollen this time and I am eating better. Hope I don't gain as much this pregnancy so it will be easier to lose after.

Its a boy!!!

We are so excited to have a house full of boys! It was so special opening up the card with the sex on it, on Christmas morning. It was such an awesome family time. This makes life a whole lot easier! We are still debating on whether to keep the name a secret or not. We have a few picked out that we like but we haven't picked out a definite name.

Ultrasound:
Baby b weighed 14 oz
He also has the same problem that Brandon did with his kidneys. We are just praying the same result happens with Baby b. That the kidney problems go away right after he is born.
Other than the kidneys everything looks great.

Dr's appointment:

Blood pressure: 112/64
Heart rate: 154 bpm
Measured: 23 cm

Everything looks and sounds wonderful.

The baby is the size of a banana.

Symptoms:
Heartburn: not fun

Movement:
I feel the baby all the time and he/she is moving constantly. When he/she is awake I feel a constant kick... wild child... but thank God that at night he/she sleeps with me!!!

Cravings:
Nothing at the moment but enjoying fruit and food period. I am really looking forward to beans and tamales on Christmas!!!!

Thoughts:
So excited for Christmas... to celebrate the birth of our lord and savior Jesus Christ.
I am also excited because Brandon is at the age where he understands a little more. We are excited to share this special day with our awesome son. We have everything ready except a little baking that I have to do.

20 weeks

First 2 with Brandon at 20 weeks and second 2 with Baby # 2.

Am I really 20 weeks? Halfway there!

Baby is the size of a cantalope.

Symptoms:
Can't do as much: Keep thinking that I can do more than I really can and i tire out so much faster. I know that I write this one a lot but it is a hard thing to accept that I can't do .
as much. Today I was extra tired cause of the weather.
Emotional: for sure cry more at random commercials and movies that I don't normally cry to.
Pain in hips, legs, and back.

Movement: I feel this baby all the time. I love feeling the kicks but I can only imagine how hard this baby is going to kick at the end if he/she kicks so hard now. I can also feel the hiccups that this baby has. And he/she gets them a lot!

Cravings:
Nothing really right now but food really hasn't been a struggle right now. I eat when I'm hungry and i stop when I'm full. I still haven't gained any weight and I hope I wont gain as much as I did with Brandon.

Thoughts:
I have been feeling this pregnancy a lot more that the first one. i expected that but I am having my dad look into ordering me a brace to help support my belly more to take the pressure off my hips. I'm hoping that will help.

19 weeks

Only one more week and I am half way. I can't believe how fast time has gone.
Baby Broshious is the size of a Mango. Yum!

Symptoms:
Lazyness: Don't really want to do anything. Praying for motivation for cleaning and cooking.
Tire easily: Can't do what I used to do.
Losing lung function: Having trouble breathing

Movement:
I feel the baby all the time and Ben was able to feel the baby kick this week too. It was exciting and a big step for us when he was able to feel the kick.

Cravings:
Salad!

Thoughts:
I'm a little scared in how fast this pregnancy is going. I know that God is in control but right now I don't feel in control of everything. Its a good thing and now I just need to trust fully and know that God's plans are better than mine.

16 months

Sorry this is a day late!
My baby is getting so big!

Wearing:
He is in most 18 month clothes. Even his Pants are too short. Size 4 diapers, size 5 1/2 shoes, and a Big personality.

Doing:
Running
Playing
Talking
Smiling
Laughing
Getting into things
Hugging
Kissing
Pointing
Reading
Loving
Making us laugh
Growing

New:
Words words and more words. He is in the stage where you ask him to say something and he will. It may be hard to understand but he will try his best to say it. He has his main words but his vocabulary is growing every day. He has learned where some of his body parts are and how to say them. He has learned what a dog says and I am trying to teach him what the other animals say.

Very little crying at nap time. He now lays down and lets us cover him with a blanket. He will cry for a minute and then either talk himself to sleep or fall asleep right away.

He loves books. I know that isn't new but he is learning how to sit still while we read him a story. He loves to look at the pictures and point to all the things on the page. He will also read it to me and tell me his version of the story.

That is all I can think of right now but hope you all enjoy this holiday season and celebrating the birth of our lord.

I get to pick up our Christmas cards today and they will be going out in the mail very soon!

I had a doctors appointment on Tuesday. Everything looks great. Heatbeat 162 bpm. Blood pressure 110/60. -2 pounds pre pregnancy

Symptoms:
Lazy: I think that has a lot to with the fact that I have been so busy that by the time that I get home, I am so exhausted and don't want to do anything.
Hungry: I eat a lot more and snack a lot too.
Pains: My hips and back are hurting more. Have to sit down a lot more. Feeling the pressure more this time.

Movement: This baby kicks a lot and moves a ton.

Cravings:
Olive garden and IL Vachinos house salad. Yummy!!!

Thoughts:
Crazy how the time goes so fast. Brandon is so sweet. He loves kissing and hugging my belly. I am so thankful for my hubby! He is amazing!

Short update

I am sorry I have been out of the picture for a little while. I had a crazy week. I worked 3 days in a row, then had thanksgiving, and then shopping(kind of). I don't have no pictures of this week cause I can't find my camera but as soon as I find it I have pictures of last week that I will put up.

Brandon is getting so big! He is talking more and more each day. He said "aunt" to aunt Whitney and aunt Kelsey yesterday. They loved it. He dances all the time.

Its fun to see how much rhythm he has. Our baby is the size of an onion. Nice right? Not sure if I like that my baby is getting compared to an onion. Haha. This baby is growing bigger and bigger. At this point I just feel fat and not pregnant. Hopefully that will get better! I have decided that I am carrying a lot like Brandon was. I was spread out until one day I popped into a ball in the middle. That is what happened on Thanksgiving. I have a basketball in my belly again. I will put up a picture on Thursday to show you and see if you all see it too. It has been hard to be off schedule this week and I am excited to get back on and get my dirty house clean again.

Brandon, Ben and I had two places to go on thanksgiving. It was very relaxing! The next day was an early one. Ben, Brandon, and I went to REI early and waited in the cold to get some gift cards. We were able to get 3 of them. Very awesome! I was able to get a membership so I can get 20% off in January or February so I can finally get my Double bob revolution stroller. So excited!!!!

I can't believe that Brandon will be 16 months soon and that means that in two months he will be a year and a half. I'm a little freaked out in fast time is going.

Excited for Christmas. We get to celebrate Christ's birth, find out the sex of our baby, and spend time with family. This year Ben doesn't have to work and Brandon will actually understand how to open gifts. That is all for now but more to come soon.

Really?

I don't usually get into detail and share my heart with people but I saw this and it just broke my heart! I just saw this on Facebook. They don't know if they want to have children so they posted a poll to see if the should abort or give birth. My beliefs have always been that I would never abort my child planned or not planned. I have been blessed both of my pregnancies have been planned but what would i have done if they weren't. I have always meant to be a mom. I have wanted to be one since I was little. If I got pregnant and it wasn't planned, then I would love this child just as much and not want to abort it. Same if it has down syndrome or if it ended up as a little person, spinabifida, or if this child died right after he/she was born, I would love this child to the very end and be thankful. Praising God for what He has given us. Would I blame God for bad things happening to us? No, He knows we could handle anything with him to hold us up. We struggle everyday with one salary but because of it my relationship with God and Ben is stronger. I have to trust God that he will use Ben to provide money for us to pay the bills. We are never short each month because God always provides. When you are down, struggling, empty, and need help. Look to Christ! He is always there and loves you more that anyone else ever could.

16 weeks

No picture this week. Wasn't in the mood to post one today.
Baby is the size of an avocado.

Symptoms:
Appetite: Its back! I am hungry all the time. I can't get enough food!
weight: Aren't you supposed to gain weight when eating so much? Nope not me... I am losing it.
Pregnancy pains: I have so many random pregnancy pains that happen randomly and take me out some days. I seem to have more this pregnancy but I may not remember having so many with Brandon.

Cravings:
I want Cheetos. Salty and sweet. I may have to get something that has salty and sweet at the same time. Everytime i eat something salty, want something sweet right after and vise versa.

Thoughts:
Has it really already be 16 weeks? It is flying by! I do have a toddler running around and there is never a dull moment with both my boys around.

15 weeks

15 weeks already? I feel like it has flown by!
The baby is the size of an orange.

Symptoms:
More energy: During the day but then I crash at night. That is good cause then I am rested in the morning and can wake up with my early riser at 6:45 every morning.
Irritable: Can get moody easily.
More of an appetite: I am hungry more which is good but its hard to want to eat all the time.
More stress and worrying: Need to trust God!

Cravings:
Pickles, salty, and tomatoes. Chocolate is better but still would rather have salty stuff.

Movement:
This time with Brandon I was still feeling flutters like a butterfly. This time around I feel full blown kicks. I think baby b is going to be a feisty one. It is almost to the point I think that Ben would be able to feel them. The baby likes to kick me when Brandon lays on my stomach. Apparently Brandon can't feel them yet cause he just lays there through the kicks.

Brandon has started this thing a couple weeks ago that when we ask where the baby is he lifts up my shirt and kisses my stomach. I love it and he is going to be such an awesome big brother!

Thoughts:
I have been more stressed lately but I need to just enjoy this time now. Enjoy Brandon being an only child for a few more months and enjoy being pregnant. Although I want more after this one, we may not be able to and I have to be thankful for what God has given us and how He has blessed us beyond anything I can every imagine. I have been studying Isaiah at BSF and it has been hard but so rewarding. I have learned so much about God and how He judges in love, cares about all people (not just Jesus followers), and longs for everyone to know and trust Him. It has been a wonderful journey so far!
