35 weeks

35 days to go till my due date.
Baby is supposed to be the size of a honeydew... lol! Right.
I have a feeling he is about 6 and a half pounds right now.

Symptoms:
Heartburn: Constant
Uncomfortable: He is low and I can feel every punch and kick... love it but hurts.
Potty breaks: I feel like I am constantly in the bathroom especially when I drink a lot of fluids.
Sharp pains
Skin still feel like it is stretching

Cravings:
Hungry but noting tastes good to me... nothing satisfies my cravings. I also can't eat very much otherwise I feel way too full.

Movement:
I feel everything. Especially when he decides to stretch and I feel him squishing every organ in my body... lol!

Thoughts:
I am so excited to meet my little boy. Going to start working on those last minute things that I have to get done.

-Install Car seat base
-Fix dresser
-Clear out bassinet and make it up. (Yes I know but it is acting like a storage unit at the moment)
-Pack hospital bag
-Get maturity pictures taken
-Make a birthing plan

I am enjoying all the cuddle and special time with Brandon before baby comes. I just love my cuddles. I love watching him learn and something clicking and he finally understands. I love his smiles, kisses, and uncontrollable laughter! I can't believe that he is going to be 20 months.

Both Ben and I think that Baby b is coming in April. I sure hope so but know that God's timing is the best and whenever he makes his arrival it will be awesome.

Really thinking about getting an epidural this time around too. We will see what happens. I'll be having my strep B test soon and will keep you updated.

God has really done amazing things in my life. He is working in my life and I am so amazed at how he loves everyone! How he accepts everyone just how they are mistakes and all. I am amazed at how He completely forgives and makes up white as snow. He didn't have to die on that cross. Someone told me yesterday that the reason Jesus didn't say anything during his trial and crucification is that he had unbelievable self-control. All He had to say was one word and it would have been all over. He wanted to finish what the Father had sent him to do and that was be sacrificed for our sins, die and rise again. He died so that we can live. It just blows my mind. He also gave me the opportunity to meet some amazing, awesome woman this last weekend. I am amazed and in awe at how God has blessed me recently!

34 weeks

34 weeks with Brandon.

34 weeks with baby b. Love Brandon's expression in the background.

Am I bigger? Same size? Smaller?

Baby is the size of a cantaloupe
Sorry there was no update last week cause I was having a blast in Durango.

Symptoms:
Skin stretching at the top of my belly: Hurts so bad!
Can't bend over anymore: Get sharp pains when I do so.
Heartburn
Hip pain: Haven't gone to the chiropractor yet. I am hoping to go tomorrow.
Nesting: Have spurts of energy to get things done but get tired pretty easily.
Swelling in my feet: Not as bad as with Brandon but when I am on my feet alot and walking, they swell.

Cravings:
Don't have much of an appetite. Don't eat a lot. Nothing really tastes good to me

Movement:
Lots! He loves to stretch and kick my ribs and bladder at the same time. He takes up a lot of room!

Thoughts:
I just had a vacation with my family and it was so nice to get away for some time. Now that we are back, I am so ready for our little one to come. I am ready to see his face, what he looks like, and how big he is. I am so ready to not be kicked on the inside and to sleep on my belly again. I am excited to nurse and cuddle with my little guy. I am also excited to see how Brandon reacts to him. I guess I feel a lot farther a long than I am so I feel like he sould come any day but I need to be patient. I need to cherish these last days with my hubby, and my son! My day is filled with cuddles, kisses, and endless babbling. I need to focus on Brandon at the time being and God will bring our little one when it is time.

All my friends are having their babies and I am so excited for them
Dr Appointment:

Heartrate: 124 bpm
Blood pressure: 108/64
Measure: 34 cm
Weight: + 12 lbs pre pregnancy. Surprising with all the junk food I ate on our trip.

Dr says that baby is in the 87th percentile. She says he isn't huge but he isn't small either. His kidneys are still backed up. The Dr says that it normally goes away at birth which is what happened with Brandon. She will notify the hospital and they will most likely do an ultrasound on him in the hospital. God is in control and I know that everything is going to be just fine.

She talked about at 38 weeks trying to do things like stripping my membranes to get me going since he is so big. She says at 36 weeks she wont stop the labor but she also wont force thing to happen either. At 37 weeks she will start checking my cervix to see if there is any progress.

I have two 2 week appointments and then I am going to go every week. By then I will be 37 weeks so we will check my progress. I am so excited that it is getting close to the end.

Durango

This week we went to Durango. My parents rented a condo and we (11 of us) all went up there. Brandon and I drove up with my parents on Tuesday and Ben joined us on Wednesday. We walked downtown a lot and shopped, rode the train, and just enjoyed each others company. Our condo was right by the train tracks. We got to see the train pass twice a day. It was fun watching London and Brandon watch the trains. Brandon just started loving trains and calls them "choo choos." Brandon loved playing with his cousins, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. It was so nice to get away and have a family vacation before baby comes!

Get ready for a ton of pictures!
My happy boy!

Brandon loves his cousin Rivie! The whole week he wanted to hug, kiss, and hold his cousin. He is so ready for his brother!

Brandon would say "Rivie," hold out his hands to hold him. When he didn't get Rivers right away, Brandon would clap a couple of times and then hold out his hands again all with continually saying "Rivie." So cute and funny!

Me and my handsome soon to not be only child!

Brandon loves his cousin

So hard to walk on a train, especially pregnant.
Chilling with Auntie

Daddy and son time

My nephew loves trains and had so much fun riding the train, seeing the conductors, and looking out the windows.
Sleepy boys and beautiful views!

Much needed double date night! We ate at a place called Ken and Sues. So yummy! After we went to Coldstone and got some yummy ice cream. Then to finish the night rented and watched The Next 3 Days. Good movie!

We had a wonderful time and it was so nice to get away with my family!

Update on Brandon

Went to a specialist to look at his bowed legs and pigeon toes. The doctor observed him and looked at his legs. Then the doctor said that it is normal, that it may be more bowed because Brandon walked early and because he is big. He said that he will go through a bowed leg time and then he may go through a knocked knees period. The doctor then said that it should correct itself but if it doesn't then that is when we should come back in. He also told me that he will be seeing us again from Brandon falling off the monkey bars because he is so active. That is a very likely possibility!

32 weeks, Dr. appointment, and ultrasound

Brandon at 29 weeks

Baby # 2 at 32 weeks

Baby is the size of a squash

Symptoms:
Hips hurt
Can't sleep well
Bathroom break every hour or so
Waddling: hard to walk
Lots of pressure
Tired
heartburn

Cravings:
Fruit. Nothing else tastes good to me.

Movement:
He moves at his regular times but sleeps the rest of the time. It starting to really hurt when he kicks. He likes to punch my bladder and kick my ribs.

Thoughts:
It is getting harder and harder to get off the couch and actually get motivated to do things. It hurts and I get tired so easily. Hard to sleep at night. I wake up with every noise and I have had really bad allergies. I feel a lot farther along than I really am.

Dr. appointment:
Weight gain: +11 pounds pre pregnancy
Blood pressure: 104/65
Heart rate: 150
Measure: 33 cm

I am on track to have the same size baby that I did with Brandon. I measured 34 cm at 33 weeks with Brandon.

Ultrasound
The first thing out of the ultrasound tech's mouth was "Do you have diabetes?" That is the second time I have heard that. The first time was with Brandon's last ultrasound. I do not have diabetes, i am just prone to big babies, thanks to my husband. The Tech said that on the scale he is almost too big. So far we have had a 9 lb, 9.3 lb, and 9.5 lb babies in my family. Is this one gonna be bigger? Yikes. I'll put a baby pool up soon so you all can guess.

Baby measures 4 lbs 9 oz.
The kidneys are still blocked. Praying that it resolves itself at birth. Not worried about it all.

Tech says that everything else looks good.

I am in love with this little boy. He is so cute and I can't wait to meet my precious little boy!

31 weeks

Baby is still the size of a squash.
31 weeks down and 9 more to go.

Symptoms:
Hips hurt
Heartburn
Waddling: Harder to walk. Baby is head down earlier than Brandon was so he is putting a lot of pressure and makes it harder to walk.
Not sleeping really well: Toss and turn a lot and wake up not rested.
Tire out easily: Have been picking up the house so that it doesn't take a lot to clean it but that still takes a lot out of me. I have been taking naps when Brandon does. Helps me get through the rest of the day with a crazy, hyper toddler.

Cravings:
Sweets but have been satisfying by eating cut up strawberries and bananas with yogurt.

Movement:
He moves in the morning and and evening. He moves some what through the day but lets me "sleep" at night.

Thoughts:
Excited for my ultrasound to see baby b a week from today. It will be here before we know it. I'm excited to see how big he is and how his kidneys are. I have gotten a lot of stuff done. I felt like I should get everything ready early because I want to spend more time with Brandon. I don't want to wait last minute and not get everything done. Brandon has been really clingy and wanting to sit with me a lot. Its nice to know we are ready for whatever comes.
I have gotten these done:

-Cleaned and organized the boys room.
-Washed Baby b's clothes and put it in the dresser
-Moved Brandon's clothes to his dresser
-Bought Ergo carrier and infant insert for baby b.
-Got car seat washed and ready
-Bassinet ready and next to bed (thanks to my sister)

I just need to do a couple of things.

-Pack hospital bag.
-Instal car seat base.
-Pull the swing in from the garage.
-Buy items needed for pumping and baby b that we need.
-Buy a take home outfit for baby b.
-Have my church baby shower (So thankful for my friends at church!)

Lots of my friends are having babies or are close to having their babies soon. I am so excited for them and know that baby b will come when it is God's timing. I'm excited to meet our precious little boy!
