Mom's night

Some mom's and I got together to catch up on some scrapbooking. It was fun conversation and getting some rest time away from the boys.

I love when I get to see Brandon and Kyle interact. Its so much fun to see them interact more and more as they get older. Its fun to see them developing in different ways. I'm very thankful for stephanie's friendship. She has helped me so much to be a better wife and mom. To help me know that I'm doing a good job and to have someone walk beside me on this difficult journey.

Bathtime

The reason for the bath
Brandon just loves bathtime. We give him a bath most nights before he goes to bed. WE put him in and he plays with his toys and has a great time. He has been trying to crawl in the bath and learned he can kick his legs. Its so much fun to watch him in the bath.

WE went to Fudruckers as a family and had hamburgers. It was so fun to get out and have dinner as a family. I love my boys!

Big boy!

On Thursday May 13th, not only did Brandon start crawling but he also started pulling himself up in his crib. Ben and I stayed up really late trying to figure out how to put his crib down. On Friday I walked into his room and this is what I saw.

The Natural History Museum

I went to the Natural history museum and went to go see the dinosaurs and everything else in the museum. We had a blast!

We thought it would be fun to put the boys in the dinosaur nest. They fit perfect. So funny!

My favorite part growing up is going through the volcano room. I tried to take a picture but you can't really tell what it is.

Our friends Stephanie and Kyle. Kyle is only 3 weeks older than Brandon. We hope that our boys will become good friends. We put our boys in daycare together and they already fight over toys. Stephanie and I are also told that they look like brothers or twins. Its funny.

Mother's day

I know it's a week late but for mother's day Ben, Brandon, and I went to church and then to the aquarium. It was so much fun!

9 Month Stats

You went to the doctor yesterday for your 9 month appointment. You weighed 17.6 pounds and were 28 in long. You got one shot which was the flu booster shot. You didn't even cry. The doctor says that you look great. He did say that you were starting to get a yeast infection in your private areas. He says that it gets really sweaty and humid so its easy for bacteria to grow. Gross I know but Mom got some ointment to stop that right away. The doctor also says that you are in the 5th percentile for weight and your head and the 30th percentile for your height. You are getting so big!

My baby boy is crawling!

Lately Brandon has been getting on his knees and flinging his body forward. I was going to video tape that but instead I got him really crawling. I'm kinda sad cause this means my baby is growing up but at the same time I am so excited to see him take this step!

We were able to watch the polar bears getting fed. It was so cool to see one of them jump off the top pool to the bottom and make a big splash. London kept saying "wooow!" It was so much fun!

My First Mothers Day

I know this is a day late but I had my first mother's day yesterday. It was so much fun. I got to hang out with both my boys today. We went to church and then my family and I were going to go to the zoo. Well on our way down there we got Jason's deli, yum yum, and then my sister called and said that they couldn't find any parking. So all of us decided to go to the Aquarium instead. We ate lunch outside and went in to see the fish. It was pretty busy so we didn't stay long. We then went to Route 66 diner. We had milkshakes for dinner. Then Ben, Brandon and I went home and just chilled, watched a movie and had a relaxing evening. Ben got my an hour massage from a lady in Rio Rancho. I'm excited. It will be such a relaxing time. My wonderful sister gave me a gift certificate for a pedicure. So nice. I have been wanting one and haven't had one this year. Thanks to my boys and my family for making my day so special. I am so blessed to have Brandon as my son. He is such a happy, fun, playful, and sweet little boy! Thank you Lord for Brandon!

Update on life.

My mom and Brandon's SaSa got some awesome sunglasses for him for Easter. They are so cute on him but he wont leave them on long enough to do any good in protecting his eyes. Maybe it will get better and he will think its cool to wear them.

Stephanie and I go to the zoo and the aquarium. A lot of my friends and I have zoo passes. Its so nice to get out of the house and know that I can go to the zoo or aquarium for free cause it is already paid for. We like to go at least once a week.

Man do I melt every time I see that smile. He is in his big boy car seat and he loves it!

I decided that I was going to be brave and try spaghetti. I used brown rice pasta and some vegan marinara sauce. It was so much fun watching him eat it. It was a mess but Brandon sure had fun! I love that I can experiment new foods and so far Brandon has loved everything except peaches.

Brandon loves to eat! No one can get in the way of him and his food. I think it is so funny cause Brandon isn't a chubby guy. He wasn't even on the charts when he went to the doctor last time. I'm pretty sure he has a hollow leg.
