22 weeks

Baby is the size of a papaya.

Symptoms:
Hard time breathing
Feel weak and really tired if I push myself to do too much.
Hips hurt
My abs are starting to separate: Had to order a support band but thank God for my sister who is letting me borrow hers until mine comes in. Let me tell you, painful!!!
Sleeplessness: Can't sleep at night and then feel really tired during the day.

Movement:
When this baby isn't asleep, he is moving, hiccuping, and kicking me non stop.

Cravings:
Last night I wanted Taco Bell and Ben so graciously went and got it for me.

Thoughts:
So so excited for a house of Boys!!! I am totally outnumbered but I am so excited to see my two boys grow up together and hopefully be best buds. We are going to tackle the babies room this weekend and hopefully get it organized enough to start moving and setting up things for the babies arrival.

Pretty sure this baby is going to be bigger than Brandon. A little afraid of that so I am hoping he comes early so he is as big or a little smaller than Brandon. Loving feeling him kick though cause I know he is doing well!

Weighed myself and I haven't gained weight. -3 lbs prepregnancy. Trying not to worry knowing that he is doing fine. Just have to realize that I am not swollen this time and I am eating better. Hope I don't gain as much this pregnancy so it will be easier to lose after.

Its a boy!!!

We are so excited to have a house full of boys! It was so special opening up the card with the sex on it, on Christmas morning. It was such an awesome family time. This makes life a whole lot easier! We are still debating on whether to keep the name a secret or not. We have a few picked out that we like but we haven't picked out a definite name.

Ultrasound:
Baby b weighed 14 oz
He also has the same problem that Brandon did with his kidneys. We are just praying the same result happens with Baby b. That the kidney problems go away right after he is born.
Other than the kidneys everything looks great.

Dr's appointment:

Blood pressure: 112/64
Heart rate: 154 bpm
Measured: 23 cm

Everything looks and sounds wonderful.

21 weeks

The baby is the size of a banana.

Symptoms:
Heartburn: not fun

Movement:
I feel the baby all the time and he/she is moving constantly. When he/she is awake I feel a constant kick... wild child... but thank God that at night he/she sleeps with me!!!

Cravings:
Nothing at the moment but enjoying fruit and food period. I am really looking forward to beans and tamales on Christmas!!!!

Thoughts:
So excited for Christmas... to celebrate the birth of our lord and savior Jesus Christ.
I am also excited because Brandon is at the age where he understands a little more. We are excited to share this special day with our awesome son. We have everything ready except a little baking that I have to do.

20 weeks

First 2 with Brandon at 20 weeks and second 2 with Baby # 2.

Am I really 20 weeks? Halfway there!

Baby is the size of a cantalope.

Symptoms:
Can't do as much: Keep thinking that I can do more than I really can and i tire out so much faster. I know that I write this one a lot but it is a hard thing to accept that I can't do .
as much. Today I was extra tired cause of the weather.
Emotional: for sure cry more at random commercials and movies that I don't normally cry to.
Pain in hips, legs, and back.

Movement: I feel this baby all the time. I love feeling the kicks but I can only imagine how hard this baby is going to kick at the end if he/she kicks so hard now. I can also feel the hiccups that this baby has. And he/she gets them a lot!

Cravings:
Nothing really right now but food really hasn't been a struggle right now. I eat when I'm hungry and i stop when I'm full. I still haven't gained any weight and I hope I wont gain as much as I did with Brandon.

Thoughts:
I have been feeling this pregnancy a lot more that the first one. i expected that but I am having my dad look into ordering me a brace to help support my belly more to take the pressure off my hips. I'm hoping that will help.

19 weeks

Only one more week and I am half way. I can't believe how fast time has gone.
Baby Broshious is the size of a Mango. Yum!

Symptoms:
Lazyness: Don't really want to do anything. Praying for motivation for cleaning and cooking.
Tire easily: Can't do what I used to do.
Losing lung function: Having trouble breathing

Movement:
I feel the baby all the time and Ben was able to feel the baby kick this week too. It was exciting and a big step for us when he was able to feel the kick.

Cravings:
Salad!

Thoughts:
I'm a little scared in how fast this pregnancy is going. I know that God is in control but right now I don't feel in control of everything. Its a good thing and now I just need to trust fully and know that God's plans are better than mine.

16 months

Sorry this is a day late!
My baby is getting so big!

Wearing:
He is in most 18 month clothes. Even his Pants are too short. Size 4 diapers, size 5 1/2 shoes, and a Big personality.

Doing:
Running
Playing
Talking
Smiling
Laughing
Getting into things
Hugging
Kissing
Pointing
Reading
Loving
Making us laugh
Growing

New:
Words words and more words. He is in the stage where you ask him to say something and he will. It may be hard to understand but he will try his best to say it. He has his main words but his vocabulary is growing every day. He has learned where some of his body parts are and how to say them. He has learned what a dog says and I am trying to teach him what the other animals say.

Very little crying at nap time. He now lays down and lets us cover him with a blanket. He will cry for a minute and then either talk himself to sleep or fall asleep right away.

He loves books. I know that isn't new but he is learning how to sit still while we read him a story. He loves to look at the pictures and point to all the things on the page. He will also read it to me and tell me his version of the story.

That is all I can think of right now but hope you all enjoy this holiday season and celebrating the birth of our lord.

I get to pick up our Christmas cards today and they will be going out in the mail very soon!
