I tried to update my blog the other day and my computer wouldn't let me so my plan is to try it again soon. Sorry I haven't updated as much as I should!

I am realizing that I need to listen to Ben more with Brandon. Most of the time he is right. It would take less time figuring it out and more having fun!

6 months

It has been an incredably hard last two weeks. Brandon turned 6 months which is awesome but he is going through another stage where he doesn't want to take his naps or go to bed at night. He screams for his entire nap. Its frustrating cause first I don't like to hear him scream and second cause I feel like I'm doing something wrong. On a good note BRandon is developing so much. He can sit up on his own for a few minutes and then he gets tired and falls. He has been rolling onto his stomach a lot. The only problem is that he hates being on his stomach so he rolls and then starts screaming. I have been going to the gym and leaving him in the daycare. He is doing better in there. His 6 month is on the 26th. So I'll update you more then and put up some pictures. It has been crazy so I haven't been able to take as many pictures as I would like.

Update on Brandon

Brandon has been up to so much! We went to the doctor on December 31st. He weighed 13.8 lbs (10th percentile), he was 26 in long (75th percentile), and his head was 15 3/4 around (10th percentile). The doctor asked if he was eating and I told him a lot and he said that he wasn't worried about Brandon being in the 10th percentile. He is in some 3-6 months but mostly 6 months. The 6 month clothes fit him just right in the length but they are so big around his waist. He needs a belt! He is in size 2 diapers. He went from pooping once every 8 days to twice a day. He loves to talk and smile. He does the "th" sound alot now when he is talking to me. He laughs a lot more now. He plays with his own toys and loves to feel the textures, hear the noises and put them in his mouth. He puts everything he can in his mouth! If he could he would be sitting up right now. He just needs a little support. Just recently he started taking all of his naps. The crying it out paid off. It is nice and he sleeps usually 2 to 2 1/2 hours. He is a lot happier since Ben and I are on the same page and makes me laugh and smile all the time. Brandon had his first Christmas and got lots of toys. He had his first New years which he slept through. I know that will be different when he is older. I'm sorry that some of the pictures are sideways. We went to Ben's grandma's 98th birthday party. We went to the parade of lights. It was so cold. In the picture from left to right is me, Ben, Brandon, steph (Ben's sis), Jason (steph's husband), and Cheryl (Ben's mom).
Ben's sister graduated and got married. We are proud of her.

Ben took this picture but missed the part that they smashed it in each others face right after this. haha

Ben and Steph dancing. Ben does know how to dance but he wont admit it!

Denver

Brandon, Ben, Ben's mom, step-dad, and I all went to Denver. It was so awesome to get away for a weekend. We did so much stuff. Brandon rode on his first airplane. We went to the aquarium, tours for Hammond's candies, Coors brewery, the Denver mint, a Denver broncos game and we drove around downtown to take pictures. It was jam packed but so much fun!

We went the aquarium and it was so much fun We walked around and looked at all the different fish, birds, and animals. They had tigers there. It was a blast!

Family picture at the aquarium.

Ben and Brandon looking at the fish. the fish tank is dark but there are fish in there.
