C's kidneys

Update on C's kidneys. We went to the dr and he said that C's kidneys are growing and the water is staying the same.  So it looks like he is out growing his hydronaphrosis.  They are going to take another ultrasound in Feb to make sure.  So thankful!  God is in control!

Weight: 14 lbs 6.5 oz ( B at 5 mo was 13.8 lbs)
Height: 27.5 in (Brandon at 5 mo was 26 in long)
He is a big boy!

Cannons kidneys

We had Cannon's kidney appointment this morning. He weighed 14 lbs 6.5 oz. He measured 27.5 in. He is already bigger at 3.5 months than Brandon at 5 months. Praise is that Cannon's kidneys are growing and the water isn't. It looks like he is growing out of it. We have another appointment in February for an ultrasound to see how his kidneys are doing. So amazed at my Father who can heal anyone! Thank you all for praying!

He sleeps 3 naps. Morning: 2 hr nap, Afternoon: 3 hr nap, and Evening: 30-45 min. At night he sleeps from 9 pm-5 am, falls back to sleep and wakes at 8 for the day.

Some 3 month clothes, some 3-6 month clothes
Size 2 shoes

Its hard that C doesn't take a bottle. It means that I can't leave him for a long period of time. Its hard to get me and Ben time because he is so dependent on me to feed him. I hope he will get better at taking a bottle.

C had an ultrasound on Wednesday. It looks like there is still water in his kidneys. There is more water in the left than the right. I wasn't able to compare with his last ultrasound so I am not sure if there is more, less, or the same amount of water as before. Please pray that the dr will have wisdom and know what to do about the water. What is causing it, if it needs to be fixed, and what we need to do. Its hard to see my baby go through this but I know he is in our Father's hands. This is all happening for a reason and to give glory to our Creator!

C is getting so big too fast. He is the happiest most laid back baby. He loves to laugh and smile when he sees Ben, Brother or me. B loves to talk to C and make him laugh and smile. B says hi to C in the morning, when C is sleeping and every time B walks in the same room as C. His smile melts my heart. I am so in love with him.

I have been thinking. I heard that with the first kid you are getting to know how to take care of a baby as well as getting to know your baby. With the second, you already know how to take care of a baby and all you have to know is get to know your baby. Although it is hard having two, its easier cause the second child learns how to fit in with the family. With the first child, your whole life changes as you try to adjust to a whole schedule change. I don't sit around, like I did with Brandon freaking out cause he is crying, didn't eat enough, or he isn't sleeping enough. I defiantly don't worry as much. I love having two boys! I was also thinking it is a lot to have nephews who are close in age with my boys. My sister has two boys, ages 2(almost 3) and 1, and my sister-in-law has a boy, 4 months, as well. Its fun to see them grow, play, and develop together. It will be so nice that they will all have someone to play with growing up.

Happy 2nd Birthday my sweet boy! Pretty sure it was just yesterday that I was giving birth to this boy. It has been an awesome 2 years to watch him grow, learn, smile, laugh, and play!

Love my little 2 year old. This last month has been challenging! I just have to remember that I have to stay consistent and this stage will pass! Bring on the next year! So ready to spend it with my two amazing boys!

Dr appointments

Went to the Dr. today for both boys today.

Brandon:

Weight: 31.4 lbs (80th percentile)

Height: 35.75 in (90th percentile)

He got 1 shot and hated it. Poor baby!

I love having a Dr. that is a Christian cause it is nice talking to him with disciplining God's way. He told me to pray about how we need to discipline and gave me a couple books that I should read to help.

Cannon:

Weight: 12.8 lbs (75th percentile)

Height: 24 in (60th percentile)

He got 3 shots and 1 oral. Poor kid hated it and screamed his head off.

2 Months

I have a Dr appointment on the 28th so we will find out stats on both boys then. I would say he is about 13-14 lbs. He is super long as well.

23 months

Haven't taken a lot of pictures this month. Most of them are with both boys. Brandon doesnt like his picture being taken.

I cant believe in a month my little boy will be 2!
