11 weeks

I can't believe my baby boy is 11 weeks. Time has passed so fast. He has not gone to the doctor. We are still waiting to set up an appointment because of all the people who have the flu. Brandon is getting so big and doing so much. The weather change has been big on how fussy he is. I also think he has reflex and cries a lot in the afternoon and evening. He hasn't been sleeping very well at night and during the day. I could use prayer in how to handle him and his constant crying. Its hard to hear my baby in so much pain. I could use some prayer because I haven't been able to get much sleep either the last week. I am in desperate need of some sleep and I know that will help in how I handle Brandon. I could use some prayer in patience. When he isn't crying he is a happy baby. He loves to talk and coo. He smiles all the time. He is starting to grow out of his 3-6 month PJ's. and will be in 6 month soon. Although he is still in 3 month onsies because he has a skinny torso he is just really long. He is still in size 1 diapers. He has been grabbing onto things more especially blankets and he brings them to his face when he is tired. The swing and bouncer has helped with his reflex and I usually let him sit up for about 30-45 minutes after he eats. I know its only a stage and it will pass. He loves to stare at me. Its nice that he likes to look and study me. He likes to sit more than he did. He used to just want to stand but now he is OK with sitting. He will follow me as I walk across the room. When he cries it sounds like he is saying "mama." I know he is crying but I like to hear and think he is calling me when I know he doesn't know what he is saying. I love being able to stay at home with him.

I don't like the weather change. I should move to Arizona where it is always hot. I would never move there cause Ben wouldn't let us move there. Hehe.

Life is good. I know it is hard right now but it will get better but I could use lots of prayer!

  1. I can relate to the need for prayer in learning how to take care of and be patient with a fussy baby. I will pray for you and I know that it will get easier and answers will come. Shea was so fussy the first 4 months, but has become so much more pleasant! There is so much to be learned as a parent. I know you are doing a great job, follow your mother instinct. :)
